Our café

Just walk in!

Visit our café to get a real flavour for the food we sell. Our selection of mouth-watering homemade food is bursting with wholesome Yorkshire flavour while our varied menu offers something for everyone. We use Yorkshire meat from our butchery and local produce from the shop in our menus.

Our team of friendly staff are ready to welcome you into the café which is open Monday to Sunday from 9am to 4.30pm (last food orders 4.15pm). Breakfast is served from 9am to 11.30am (Sunday until 11.15am) and lunch is served from 12 noon to 3pm (last orders for hot food 3pm). Sandwiches are available 12 noon to 4pm and cakes and coffee are available all day until 4.15pm.

Fodder on the hoof

If you’re on the move, we can serve you quickly from our converted 1960’s Airstream located in the Fodder car park, and open daily selling a range of seasonal, quality hot and cold food and drinks to take away.

Whether you’re on your way to work or heading in or out of Harrogate – stop by and treat yourself to a delicious slice of Yorkshire from Fodder on the hoof.

Championing Yorkshire food and drink, our team of staff are dedicated to ensuring customers enjoy their food experience with us. Our café showcases our wide range of locally sourced food and we are passionate about eating food in season – when it is at its best and nutritious.

Our valued suppliers

Farmers are the keepers of our land. They ensure that the land is managed to the best of their abilities and this also makes it look beautiful for us too.

Loving local also means that the supplies have travelled less food miles and are normally fresher. Most of our produce has been picked fresh that morning straight from the field. Without the need for artificial ripening this also means less packaging too.
